Meet the Chiropractor

    Dr. Zachary Leible D.C., M.S., C.S.C.S.

Since I was young Chiropractic has been part of my life. Growing up I can remember my parents going to our family Chiropractor. Although I fractured my lumbar spine when I was 8 years old, I was a teenager the first time I experienced chiropractic myself. I sustained an injury to my lower back while lifting weights in high school. I remember not being able to sleep and I could hardly move without severe pain. After deciding that I couldn’t tough it out on my own, my mother set up an appointment with our Chiropractor. I hobbled into his office the next day and by the time I left I could actually walk without significant pain. Within a week or two it was like nothing had happened.

Throughout college I continued seeing a Chiropractor regularly. While in college I injured my back again while playing football. Once again our team Chiropractor got me back to feeling normal in no time. It was then that I realized Chiropractic had changed my life and I knew it was the profession for me. I chose Chiropractic so I could help people the same way that I have been helped.

I was born and raised in Perry County Missouri where I attended Perry County Elementary, Perry County Middle School, and Perryville High School. Following high school graduation I went on to Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau Missouri where I lettered in football and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Following graduation from Southeast Missouri State I enrolled at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield Missouri. While at Logan College I studied the science and art of Chiropractic, along with Sports Science and Rehabilitation as part of the Master's degree program.

I graduated Logan College Cum Laude in the Doctorate program and with honors from the Master's degree program. I also obtained a second Bachelor degree in Life Science. While at Logan College I also met my wife Natalie. She is now the Office Manager (and the true boss!) at Benton Chiropractic. We have been blessed with two girls, Charley and Lucy. We moved to Marshall County in late 2011 after my graduation to begin my new career as a Chiropractic Physician.  I have continued my education by becoming a Certified Medical Examiner, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and also my certification for Dry Needle therapy.

For the past several years I have worked as the discus throwing coach for the Marshall County track team and I have enjoyed watching the team grow and achieve their goals more and more every year. We have truly enjoyed starting our family here Marshall County and we look forward to serving your needs for years to come!
